Polyfluor Plastics delivers a wide range of PTFE tubing (and modified PTFE). Smooth or convoluted (spiral or parallel), in metric, inch and AWG sizes. Delivery possible on straight lengths, coils or spools, cut lengths and pre-formed parts.
When your critical application requires colour identification, we can deliver coloured PTFE tubing or marked PTFE tubing. Almost every color is possible by adding a dry pigment to the natural PTFE tubing. Pigmented PTFE tubing can be delivered in divers dimensions, on coils or spools. Colored or marked PTFE tubing is often used in X-ray applications with a.o. BaSo4.
Due to the combination of a low friction coefficient and high temperature resistance, PTFE is extremely suitable for guiding aluminum welding wire, among other things, in the MIG welding process.
In applications creating static charge (for example: using a medium with a high flow rate), we advise conductive (antistatic) PTFE tubing. When static charge is created it can ignite the medium (due to electric sparks) or can cause holes in the wall of the tubing. The filler in the tubing does not prevent static charge but provides a good and safe guidance.
Polyfluor Plastics supplies PTFE tubing according AWG standard as well. AWG (American Wire Gauge) is the standard for electrical applications/insulation applications. AWG tubing will be supplied on coils or spools, depending on the size.
When clarity, flexibility or a lower melt temperature are required, FEP is often chosen. Available in smooth or convoluted tubing (spiral and parallel), in metric, inch and AWG sizes. We can deliver FEP tubing on straight lengths, coils or spools.
For applications requiring more clarity, flexibility and a higher continuous working temperature, PFA is often chosen. PFA tubing can be delivered in smooth or convoluted design (spiral or parallel), in metric, inch and AWG sizes. Delivery possible on straight lengths, coils or spools.
PVDF tubing can be delivered in smooth or convoluted version (spiral or parallel). In metric, inch and AWG sizes. Delivery possible on straight lengths, coils or spools.
For applications requiring an excellent impact resistance and good resistance to stress cracking ETFE tubing is often used. Available in metric, inch and AWG sizes.
ECTFE tubing is available in both metric and inch sizes. Specific dimensions on request possible. Standard delivery on production lengths. On request also available on straight lengths or coils/spools.
THV is a thermoplastic elastomer. Available in both metric and inch sizes. Specific dimensions possible on request. Special demands for packaging, for example specific coil lengths or cleanroom packing, possible on request.
Polyfluor delivers spiral convoluted PTFE tubing in natural design and optimal flexibility. Available in anti-static design (black) or with straight ends (for connectors/fittings).
