The combination of the low friction coefficient and high temperature resistance, makes PTFE very suitable for guiding aluminum wire in the MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding process. Our PTFE liners are supplied on reels of 100 meters and are available from stock natural white, carbon filled and with fixed color coding.

Due to its increased wear resistance, black carbon-filled PTFE liner is better suited for guiding stainless steel/INOX welding wire, among other things.

Colored coding PTFE liners provide an optical size indication, which prevents a mix-up with regard to welding wire thickness in relation to the liner diameter. This offers you an optimal and interference-free welding wire feed. This coding also applies to our carbon-filled (black) liners, via an horizontal color stripe over the entire length of the liner.
