    (fluorinated ethylene propylene)

    PTFE and FEP are similar in their material properties. The main difference between PTFE and FEP lies in the maximum operating temperature and the colour. PTFE is milky/white and FEP is clear transparent.

    PFA is clear transparent with a light blue glow. The material combines many of the properties of PTFE and FEP. PFA is often used when clarity, flexibility, and a higher continuous operating temperature range are required.

    PVDF is mainly used in critical applications requiring an excellent chemical resistance, a high degree of purity and excellent mechanical properties. PVDF has a very good creep resistance that is superior to that of other fluoropolymers.

    In addition to the excellent chemical resistance and clarity, THV is het most flexible of all fluoroplastics. Due to these properties THV is suitable for many applications.

    PCTFE

    (polychlorotrifluoroethylene)
    The addition of a chlorine atom, is partly responsible for a lower melt index. As a result, PCTFE can be used for extruding, injection molding and hot pressing. It contributes to the transparency of the material as well, the exceptional resistance to creep, and the stiffness of the polymer.
