Zone tapes are used on sealing heads for small packaging machines, like L-Sealers. Polyfluor supplies zone tape in two types: type A and type B. Type A is a glass cloth with double-sided tape, adhered to the glass cloth, at both sides. Type B is glass cloth with a partially overlapping paper or glass fiber reinforced tape at the sides.

Both types have an adhesive layer at both sides.This ensures maximum heat transfer in the middle of the tape. The design causes a reduction in temperature, and saves costs in energy and sealing time. The width and type of the design will depend on the application.
