As Logistics Team Leader, he ensures smooth deliveries, improves our logistic processes, and serves as a crucial link between the office and our warehouse. It's time to get to know him better.

Jeffrey is 36 years old, lives in Dongen, is married to Janneke, and has two sons (9 and 12). At work, but also in his spare time, he likes to set the course. However, everything he does must be in balance. Sometimes running hard, sometimes strolling calmly. As a true sports enthusiast and loving family man, he coaches his son's soccer team at JO-10 at Olympia 69. Something he enjoys a lot as a fan of the game and of his family.

You can confidently put Jeffrey in charge, a role he also fulfilled in his previous job. However, where the responsibilities were significant, the appreciation was lacking. This led him to seek a new job. When he wanted to make this move five years ago, he ended up at Polyfluor through his father-in-law, Bernard Schellekens. And after a fun and enthusiastic conversation, he quickly started as a logistics employee. When the opportunity arose to take a training course to become a team leader, he didn't hesitate. “I always expressed the ambition to grow. To achieve that, I was given a lot of trust and space. That makes you stronger as a person. Feeling that trust is essential because it only makes you better. I'm happy to pay that back now.”

Currently, Jeffrey is in his second year as Logistics Team Leader. He is the point of contact between the warehouse and the office and gets to be involved in everything. “I oversee the processes, make plans, and am involved in all incoming and outgoing goods within Polyfluor. I enjoy optimizing everything and can be very passionate about it. In addition, I still work a lot on the floor, which offers the perfect balance for me. And it ensures that we are a committed group, which has a positive effect on the entire process.”

Working at Polyfluor has almost become a hobby for Jeffrey, he says. “I have a lot of fun in the work and with whom I get to collaborate. The trust is significant, and that feels good. It actually feels like a second family, and I greatly appreciate that. Together with Polyfluor, I have been able to grow into who I am now.”

And when it comes to the future, he sees plenty of opportunities but takes his time calmly. “A more facilitating role might be something for me later, maybe in five or ten years. I'm still young, can take many more steps, and can take courses. I'm just focusing on today for now. What comes later, comes later. Enjoying the moment is just as important as developing.”
